You enter the lounge through the wheelhouse/porch, and this incredible main living area opens up before you, and it also has doors to an outside terrace aft, a good sized space to enjoy the views along the Medway.
Stairs from the lounge lead to the lower deck accommodation. This comprises two large double bedrooms, both with a large amount of fitted storage. The family bathroom has toilet, bath with shower attachment and hand basin.
Also on this level is a good sized dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen, including a 6 burner range with double oven, and again plenty of storage and work surface. The entire lower deck has been well fitted out, and kept in excellent order.
The engine room houses boiler, washer and dryer, and freezer. The engine is still in situ but not connected. It has not been used for many years, but could be brought back to working order if you are of a mind to do so. Zodiac benefits from upvc double glazing and diesel fired central heating throughout.
Zodiac was originally a passenger ferry on the Thames until 1999 when she ceased service. She has a robust carvel built hull from pine, and upper strakes of Elm om Oak frames.
Zodiac offers great space, wonderful character, and can continue to be a lovely family home.
The price of Zodiac has been reduced considerably as the hull is now in need of some attention and she will need to be dry docked to be properly checked. She is still an incredible opportunity but is going to need some work, both externally and internally on the lower level,so as well as the drop in price the owners will consider sensible offers.
